These are clearly meant to be affordable pillows for Motels and the like, and are clearly not designed to be luxury items. You can tell right away that these are filled primarily with long feathers about 6 inches in length; the feather shafts are so pronounced that it feels like they are stuffed with straw, and they crinkle loudly when you move them. If you are looking for high quality down pillows, these are not what you're looking for.On the upside, the cover feels durable and of a very tight weave; this is important because otherwise the feathers would definitely be poking out of the pillow right away.
