These are a great value and I was very pleased with how much they fluffed up. Photo 1 shows them straight out of box vs after wrapping removed, and 2nd photo shows them on the left after being fluffed in the dryer. Are they fine goose-down pillows from a luxury store? Oh course not! But they are a great buy for nice looking fluffy throw pillows. I did not have tennis balls so I used a few pairs of balled-up socks in the dryer and they came out great. I did size-up to 22x22 inch inserts for my 20x20 pillow covers because I wanted a more firm, overstuffed look.The pillows are soft but not as full as they look in the pictures. Fortunately, I had just watched a video by one of my favorite designers, and she happened to share her secret to throw pillows. Whatever pillowcover you order (16x16 in my case), make sure to order the next size up when you order the pillow itself (18x18). I did this and it did make the pillow seem more full. Other than wishing it had more filling In it, if you do as the designer suggested, I think you will be satisfied with these pillow inserts. They're nice for the price!I was skeptical about ordering these. Seemed too good to be true for the size (four, 18"x18" pillow inserts) and price. But I took a leap of faith and I'm so glad I did! DO NOT BE FOOLED by how they arrive! I was shocked when I received the compressed, vacuum packed packages. I started taking pictures, anticipating leaving a bad review. But I followed the fluffing instructions and viola! Gorgeous pillows. So glad I trusted the process. I'm very happy with these pillows for my guest room daybed.Please don’t be disappointed if your pillows are flat. It is possible that the negative reviews saying the pillows are flat didn’t read the instructions. The package came vacuum sealed, flatter than a pancake. As soon as you open the package the pillows begin to fluff but not like they should. The directions say to shake vigorously for 5 minutes or place them in a dryer with tennis balls. Since I don’t own tennis balls, I decided to put them in the dryer on cool to air fluff them out and OH BOY! I’m so glad I did. LOOK AT HOW BEAUTIFUL AND FLUFFY these babies came out. Shaking them vigorously will work, but place them in a dryer on cool for 20 minutes to get the best results.These come in a vacuum bag completely flat. If you follow the instructions and vigorously fluff them for 5 minutes, they fill out quite nicely. I used 20x20 inserts in our 18x18 covers and they are very supportive. I figured, if they do flatten out some, the bigger size should make it less noticeable.I wasn’t sure what to expect when I opened the small box that was to hold my order of 4 - 20” x 20” pillow inserts. When opening the box the were 2 long compressed bags. Opening the first bag, there were two flat pillow forms. The instructions were excellent on how to fluff up the pillows. Once fluffed, these are the nicest forms I’ve used. This brand will definitely be my go to brand for my pillow form needs.I bought these to try and make my sofa pillows fuller. However, they are a little soft for my covers. I am using them but needed more firmness so I added back some of the stuffing that was already in my pillows along with the inserts to make them full and firm. The inserts are really nice though if you're looking for a much softer pillow.Had these for a year already and looks like I just got them yesterday. They're still as fluffy as when I got them. Definitely make sure you throw them in the dryer when you get them to make them expand. Love them and will be getting more for other couches!I suggest if you’re buying these pillow inserts- You buy double of what you need. I bought four of them I filled two pillows the photo I have included has the pillow in the bottom with one insert and the pillow on the top with two inserts. You get what you pay for and I guess in this case four pillow inserts arrived and I filled two pillows. I should return them but by the time I stuffed those two pillows into one pillowcase I am over it. I’ll order a higher quality pillow insert for my other pillowcases.Claim to be 16x16, got them and they were about 14.5 x14.5. Not the size I ordered and now they are too small for my pillow cases. Very disappointingThey came in airtight packaging but quickly expanded as soon as i took them out of packaging. I wasn't too concerned w expanding them too much because i bought 20" x 20" for my 18" x 18" pillow cases but they we're a perfect fit. All i did was karate choo all the sides until the fluff was more into the center and that worked great.Love these! Using these with seasonal pillow covers and they totally stand up to regular use and haven't lost their shape. I don't have kids at my house (just older teenagers and particularly rowdy cats), and daily family gatherings haven't affected the pillow too much. I would absolutely buy these again. The seams are well sewn, and after a month of regular use there has been no sign of tear, or the stuffing coming out.I took a chance on these ones and I'm very glad that I did. They arrive in an air-locked bag to make them easier to ship. I let them sit for a few hours to off-gas anything that could be in there (they smelled fine, but my partner has very bad asthma so I have to be extra cautious). They maintained their shape after being taken out of the package but it took a few hours for the stuffing to settle and to get a good shape. I put them right into a pillowcase in order to help them keep their shape and it's worked well for us.I've attached a photo of the pillows inside seasonal covers that I purchased for Thanksgiving to show their shape, size, and look after a month of use. However, after 24 hrs, and even 2 weeks later, the size did not fluff bigger. I bought pillow covers, same size 12x20 and the inserts are too small and flat so the covers look wrinkly and sloppy. It's unfortunate as the covers are beautiful rich jewel colours and it would be nice to have the inserts the right size.Update December 11 - I was unhappy with the way the pillows looked and seeing them everyday bothered me, so I decided to buy another set with the thought to put two pillows in one pillow case. I tried it before ordering again, by taking one out and putting it into another pillow case. It certainly made it pouf'ier, however I wondered if the zipper would break. I went ahead and ordered another set which arrived today, and lo and behold, this second set of pillows are larger in size and that made a difference because it didn't case the pillow case to sag in the middle. So I simply switched out the new set of pillows and now they look fine although I think they could stuffed more. I up'd the stars by another one. I am satisfied for the price I paid, although technically I paid 2x, but perhaps it's always good to have another set of pillows around.
