Just got these pillows today, and I'm really disappointed. They feel great once fluffed up, but they're so flimsy that they immediately smoosh down to less than 1/4 inch width as soon as you put your head on them. They are useless for side sleeping. You could get as much of a 'pillow' from folding a sheet up and putting that under your head. Doing so with a towel would be improved from what these pillows offer. I'll be returning them.Edited on 6/15/2022: Ok, I planned to send them back and I am so sorry for the scathing review. I noticed I had inadvertently gotten an ink mark on one of the pillows and so didn't return them as I had planned. I set them aside figuring they'd be good enough for someone eventually and I'd give them away or donate them. Fast forward a month or two and I was moving and grabbed the pillows to toss in my bedding pile. Much to my surprise, these things had become full and not flimsy at all. They are now match their description and honestly, they're pretty great for side sleeping. So...I am SO sorry for giving a review that was wrong. I changed my star rating and hope this helps sales that I messed up. Decent pillows for the price.I'm 66 years old and this is the best pillow I've ever slept on...period!Super soft and fluffy.These pillows are very full and offer a nice level of softness. When they first arrived in a sort of vacuum pack wrap, I wasn’t sure about them, but it didn’t take too them long to spring back into shape when I studied the idea behind them.The manufacturer suggests you shake them gently to "wake them up". The maker also mentions waiting 24 to 48 hours to allow them to get fully fluffy. I have learned a trick I have also used on other fibre fill pillows where I first put them in a low temperature dryer for a bit to bring them to their full loft. I think the key to not being disappointed with a pillow like this is to realize that you cannot really just unwrap them and go straight to bed as there is an initial procedure you need to follow to ensure they work to their optimum level.The pillows are a 100% polyester fabric material and the fibre fill is polyester acting as a down alternative. They are machine washable. They look and feel well made. The alternative fiberfill is evenly spread out inside the pillow and feels fairly dense. It has good spring back after a night of sleeping on it. They also look great inside my pillow shams.At the current listing price of $57.99, I feel this is good value for money for a PAIR of good quality pillows. They are soft with just enough support for me and I am able to get a good night's sleep on them. Of course, this is a subjective thing for the most part, but I can say if you follow the procedure for "waking them up", and properly care for them, I feel that you should have a comfortable, long lasting pair of pillows that will reward you in the end. I am giving these a solid 4 out of 5 rating.Recommended!I like the size of these. They're, at first glance, quite thick and puffy. They have a nice soft polyester shell, but I would still use a pillowcase. You can wash the sweat and dead skin off a pillowcase. Off an actual pillow.....not so much. I know...ewww and/or ick! But you know it's true.With this marshmallow kinda puffiness, they are a tad too soft for this reviewer. I found my head sunk into them to the point where it was not exactly comfortable. Don't get me wrong. They are really really comfy for most people. They are cool to the touch, don't make your face or head too warm. They are well made. I should note that I sleep on a memory foam pillow so the softness part is more of a personal preference.They are quite nice. I can't say they aren't. They are just not dense enough for my taste. If you want a super soft pillow...yeah. Go for it. But consider for $60CAD what other options you might have.
