So far so good. As others have mentioned do not follow the instructions to wash the inner pouch with the material. If you do would take forever to dry as in it would probably be mildewy before it dries. But you should wash the outer cover. Took about a day and half for the pillows to decompress after unpacking. Did have a slight almost medicinal odor to it when first opened but after about 2 days that dissipated completely.So far so good on the comfort. Because it is not a solid piece and instead is a bunch of smaller cut pieces it both molds and cradles the head. As such you have that feeling of soft fluffy pillow with the support of a firm pillow. I would rate it about a medium firmness out of package. I have arthritis and joint issues in my neck and shoulder and has helped some with the pain. Is the most comfortable when sleeping on your side. Sleeping on your back you have to maneuver it just right so that it it supports your neck just right, but is not particularly hard and such don't need the cervical pillow I was using with my other pillows.The only "complaint" (if you can call it that) is that the material definitely retains heat. In cooler months is not so much of an issue. With the 105 degree heat we have been having it can make for a sweaty night as such you will definitely need pillow covers and will have to change them often. At least until it cools down.And yes normal pillow covers fit the size you get and are not some odd custom size as some of these types of pillows are. If you are not used to down (or down like) pillows it could take a bit of getting used to as is not the same type of feel to it as the standard pillow and while comfortable the pillows are a bit heavy compared to standard pillows. I wish I had bought a second set for the other half while they were still on sale.So I did wash and dry the pillows for anyone that washes these pillows be prepared to dry them for like 5+hrs . If u let them air dry it will probably take over a week to dry out. I honestly wouldn't even wash and dry them it turned out to be a pain. Now the memory foam doesn't act like memory foam anymore I might have ruined the pillow memory foam now it acts like sponge with the memory foam part taken out because I dried them I think it lost the memory part of it. So I am ordering new ones and this time I'm not washing and drying them I will just let them air out and deal with the factory smell which isn't a big deal. I was just following directions that came with the pillows and turned out to be a pain. Honestly they are very very comfortable pillows and u can take as much memory foam out of them as you want to your comfort zone. I will always buy these pillows even the premium pillows that are $150-$300 aren't as comfortable and it's a rip off buying those pillows trust me I wasted money on them to be disappointed all your paying for is the pillow brand and a fancy new name for memory foam when it's all the same, "certi-pur us advanced". Lol just the slightest name change makes it sound better but really you can't go wrong with $40 pillows that are even better than those premium pillows. Hope the review helps someone.I really love that I can take out and put in as much filling as I need. I did end up taking about half of the filling out, while my husband left it as is. He loves his. I am finding that I’m re-filling my pillow more often. I’m not sure if the filling isn’t holding up as time passes, but I have enough extra filling for an extra pillow! Over all, worth the purchase! Feel is nice over all.I’m not sure why it said to wait 24-48 hours. Mine immediately plumped up. Didn’t wash based on all the reviews. Hope I get a good nights sleep!!I got 2 of these pillows. They were a bit too firm for my taste so I took out some of the stuffing. I just saved the stuff I took out in case I want to add it to another pillow or put it back in. Great pillows. No complaints.We ended up having to remove 1/2 of the filling out of each of our pillows. Without removing 1/2 we couldn’t sleep comfortably and your neck ends up at an awkward angle. Now after we took out stuffing to our liking, I don’t want to get out of bed lol you can make 2 pillows out of 1! So for the price of 2 you get 4. Save those Pennies ladies!The pillow was to big for me, had to take a little stuffing out, now it’s just perfect. Love it!The pillows themselves are great. However, of the three sets of pillows purchased, 4 pillow covers had broken zippers, and two had dirty covers - one had a black shoe print on it from being stepped on. We had to cut the broken covers off and purchase new covers. Now they're great. Excellent support. If too firm, you can always remove a little stuffing. I removed some from one of mine and added this stuffing to a zippered pillow protector, thus creating two pillows from one. Highly recommend, even if one does have to buy new covers to replace the ones with bad zippers.
